This course explores common emotions during pregnancy, such as joy, anxiety and fears. We will accompany the understanding of hormonal and emotional changes, as well as the maintenance of intimacy and communication in the couple’s relationship . We will work on the importance of social support and provide strategies for establishing an effective support network. In addition, we will address how to manage expectations about childbirth, plan for the baby’s arrival, and make the transition to motherhood, managing lifestyle changes. The course will also focus on identifying symptoms of postpartum depression and other mental health conditions, and how to achieve a balance between baby care and self-care.
